There’s a line from a poem by the Dutch poet Lucebert that I’ve always liked: er is alles in de wereld.

It translates to “There is everything in this world.”

That sentence came to mind when I first thought of creating this channel. I had come across a few old picture books from my childhood, books I had loved, and realised that while they weren't valuable in the usual sense, they had become rare, some of them teetering on the edge of lost media.

I started to wonder about the people behind these well-loved little books. Who were the writers and illustrators? What happened to them?

So I decided to collect what I could find and share it here.

Maybe no one else will care. But I do.
